Blackfin rods and blanks are manufactured and assembled exclusively in Stuart, Florida, using the finest components and materials available and the most sophisticated modern equipment, while still maintaining old world quality production standards. Their goal is to provide high quality rods that get the job done! All Blackfin rods are designed to be used with monofilament line or any of the new super braids. The stand-up series are made with Blackfin blanks, aluminum reel seats (20-30# built with Fuji graphite reel seats), Stuart Tuff-Butts, aluminum gimbles and Fuji guides. All stand-up rods have fast or extra fast tapers which delivers the greatest pressure allowed.
