In 2007, Penn celebrated their 75th Anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, Penn commissioned a coin to complement an anniversary edition 50VSW International reel. This serialized set is limited to 500 pieces and includes a framed and matted print of the 2007 Penn catalog cover and two bronze coins, in addition to the anniversary reel and silver coin. The 50VSW reel features an engraved left sideplate to match the print and coins. An attractive wooden presentation box houses both the minted solid silver coin and the anniversary edition 50VSW, suitable for display in any fishing aficionado's private collection.
