Shimano Lucanus Recommended Terminal Tackle - New for 2008, this new jigging system has racked up some impressive catches. Unlike Butterfly jigs, Lucanus is meant to be crawled along the bottom and is best suited when fished straight on the bottom. Unique skirt design tantalizes fish to continue to nibble at the bait until they are ultimately totally stuck on the razor-sharp tandem hooks. Smaller jigs are also great for surface species like tuna and dolphin. Excellent for flounder, all kinds of snappers, grouper, cod, halibut, yellowtail, and more.
