This classic model will fit any décor. The Explorer features a walnut-finished wood base and a gold-toned semi-meridian. The 12” model stands at an overall height of 15 inches, and the 14” model stands at 17 inches. Both feature the unique dual map globe – political with the light off and physical with the light on. The Explorer is the perfect accent for any home or office.
The 14" globes offer nearly 5,000 place names and the 12-inch globes offer 3,500 place names - including continents, countries, cities, bodies of water, bathymetric ocean data, hand-drawn physical relief, and a remarkably colorful display, in 17 layers of color printing.
Two Globes in One - These globes are actually a combination of two globes; a political globe and physical globe. With the light off, each shows a wealth of highly accurate political information. With the light on, each displays exquisite hand-drawn relief and beautifully-hued physical features of the earth.
