I wanted to write and say thank you for the ridiculously fast order placement and shipment. This was delivered about 30 hours after I placed the order. Mind you, I paid for the "slow boat to China" mode of transport. This kind of customer service and care just does not happen much anymore. We have nothing to say but great things about the service and help we get at Finest Kind. The staff has been extremely helpful in outfitting two new boats. We have had a few items that FK was out of stock on, but the staff made it happen and got us our order super fast and super easy. I would highly recommend the crew at FK for any new or used boat outfitting. They have everything you need and if they don’t they will get it for you ASAP! Pretty good work guys!!

I needed to learn the secrets of being a successful offshore captain after purchasing a Wellcraft 2800 Coastal in 1999. I read numerous books and magazines, watched hours of fishing shows, and spent all my vacations struggling to be a consistent captain. At various tackle shops in my home port area (North Palm Beach), no one seemed willing to spend time talking with a young guy who asked lots of questions. Meanwhile, I kept seeing an advertisement about a tackle store up in Stuart, so I decided to make the drive up to Stuart. As soon as I walked in the door, this guy behind the counter greeted me with, "Hey man, what's up?" I introduced myself, told him that I was new at this and just needed some advice. We put together my first real arsenal of quality fishing gear that day. I wasn’t pressured to buy something that I didn't need or couldn’t afford. They made me feel like I was the most important customer in the store. Over the next few years, I spent hours sitting in the shop learning new tricks, like how to tie a bimini twist, what a wind-on leader was and when and how I should use them, etc. Since that first day, I have bought nearly every piece of fishing gear from Finest Kind. Once on an Exumas fishing trip, we’d gone through more bait and jigs than I had anticipated, with still had over a week left on our trip. So I made a quick phone call to Finest Kind and two days later I received a package in Sampson Cay with exactly what I had ordered. On our last day of fishing, we loaded up with 16 dolphins… our best day ever! This would not have been possible without the helpful employees at Finest Kind. I owe much of what I know today to the staff at Finest Kind. Now when we make our fishing trips to the Bahamas, we consistently bring in quality catches. I would rank your store and staff as having the best customer service, not just in the tackle business, but across all types of businesses. When people ask us how we do it, I always say, "The secret to catching fish starts at Finest Kind.” The crew of Empty Pockets and myself would like to thank everyone at Finest Kind for not forgetting the small guys.
